The ISTQB's role is to support a single, universally accepted, international qualification scheme, aimed at software and system testing professionals, by providing the core syllabi and by setting guidelines for accreditation and examination for national boards and exam providers. ISEB is the ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Level exam provider in the UK, and also accredits all training providers who deliver ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Level courses in the UK. The UK Testing Board [UKTB] is the UK National Board for the ISTQB. It's the ISTQB Advanced Level exam provider in the UK, and also accredits all training providers who deliver ISTQB Advanced Level courses in the UK.
